ABOUT THE FILM

After serving three tours in the 75th Ranger Regiment, Travis Johnston returned home to find himself struggling with the trauma of war in a civilian environment. Following the suicide of a fellow Ranger, Travis became connected with a group of thru-hikers on their journey to complete the AT, and decided to hike the trail himself. What followed is a story of redemption as a single veteran learned how to love himself again through the incredibly healing power of spending time in nature.

You’re doing 110 miles an hour every single day, in every f*cking aspect of our lives. I mean we’re squeezing every last drop out of those adrenal glands that we possibly can. And that’s not just for war… that’s for back home too.
